Unbareable ExpectationsI was born into a world of expectations And was taught how to live my life The way my parents thought was right Which now as a teen I don't agree with anymore Just because my other sibling is good at something They think I should be like them I can't live up to their expectations No matter how hard I try They're just to high The expectations are to believe what they believe I should be able to make my own choices And not be told what to do and what to believe The pressure of it all is so heavy I don't think I'll be able to keep carrying It over my head day and Unbareable Expectations

I just got a note back from

saying that I've been accepted so now I'm apart of 2 clubs. I only have 2 poetry friends on devart...so I'm looking for some more...hopefully I'll find some! And I'm hoping to finish my first attempt at a horror poem. I hope it works out...it'll be a while though because theres lots of mistakes and things. I also got inspired by this teens in jail documentary I saw on TV so look out for another poem on that subject.

I think people that have a brother or sister don't realize how lucky they are. Sure, they fight a lot, but to know that there's always somebody there, somebody that's family.
